Email Marketing Manager

Overview

We’re seeking an experienced Email Marketing Manager to join the marketing team. Reporting to our Head of Marketing, this person will own the entire email/SMS strategy, from list building to campaign structure to flow optimization.

This is a full-time role based in Chicago, but remote will be considered for the right candidate. Our team utilizes a hybrid model with flexibility for in-office and remote work.

Minimum Requirements

4-6 years of experience managing email marketing
2+ years of experience managing SMS campaigns
Experience building audience segments to drive incremental revenue
Experience analyzing email and SMS data to identify areas of opportunity & strategically solve for them
Highly curious and comfortable adapting in an ever-changing environment
Experience working with Klaviyo, required
Experience working with Wunderkind, preferred

Responsibilities

Work collaboratively within the marketing team, as well as cross-functionally with teams like Creative and Product to ensure brand and business alignment.
Drive email and SMS list growth
Project manage the end-to-end delivery of each scheduled email, from content strategy, to build, test, approvals, and deployment
Optimize the conversion path for new email list subscribers and develop strategies to nurture existing customers
Develop segmentation strategies to create a better customer experience
Test new segments to identify new areas of growth
Optimize existing behavioral flows and test new pathways to increase conversion
Develop a testing strategy to improve core email KPIs
Manage campaign setup, QA, tracking, execution, testing, delivery, and analysis of all SMS programming
Manage email program performance reporting on a monthly basis as well as a quarterly analysis for future email program deployments
